A Holter Monitor is a wearable device that continuously monitors your ECG over 24 hours.

You will be asked to come into our clinic to be fitted with electrode stickers on your chest which are attached by wires to a small recording monitor. The monitor will record your heart’s activity during a 24-hour period as you go about your normal daily activities.

Upon completion we will analyse the results with every single heart beat analysed for speed, rhythm and presence of abnormal beats.

The 24-hour holter monitor test is a valuable tool in determining if further cardiac management is needed, such as drug therapy or insertion of a pacemaker.
