24 Hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring is a wearable device that is fitted for people who are suspected of having high or variable blood pressure.

You will be asked to come into our clinic to be fitted with the device – a pressure cuff around the arm that is attached to a small electric recording machine. During the next 24 hours the device will take readings of your blood pressure at regular intervals as you carry out normal daily activities.

For many patients the test provides the most accurate reflection of their blood pressure and determines whether treatment or further monitoring is required.
